The cliffs loom over the Sound, marking the northern edges of the island. DI's forests seem to disappear suddenly, giving way to the rocky bottoms of the cliffs.

Eagle lake, while very small, is a prominent feature of the northern side of the island. It lies in a little valley beneath Kaiser point and its surrounding mountains.

KAISER PEAK

Kaiser peak is the island's highest point. The mountain is easily identifiable by its large bald top, almost always covered in snow. The path to the peak is steep and densely forested

NORTH DI

The northern end of the island. The terrain becomes more elevated, there are notable mountain peaks, rivers, a lake, and small waterfalls throughout. The shore is almost all cliffs. It is the most untouched by previous human presence
